Survey causes httpd issue

I was FORCED to take a survey the last time I signed into WHM. It seems that my survey results are saved to /var/cpanel/userdata/root. This directory did not exist prior to the survey. When anything call the apache rebuild script it causes the below error. The only fix I found is to delete that new root directory but then I am prompted to fill out the FORCED survey again.

Hey there! Could you create a ticket on this issue? I don't have other reports of this being caused by the survey, but we'd like to see this in action if possible.

Additional question, why is the survey forced? Why is it not voluntary? This should be an optional request.

Thanks for getting that ticket submitted. Our team was able to confirm the issue and we've created case CPANEL-52327 to get this resolved.

As far as why it isn't a voluntary survey, this is data our team has decided they really want to have, so this ensures that users fill it out.

Vedhan - that wouldn't be related to this issue. Could you please start a new thread with specifics about your server and the load you're seeing?

Update - we're working on resolving this in versions 134, and 136.
