The requirement to go through the Wizard to add auto SSL is horrible, is there a way we can have the old system where we can just generate the ssl from the ceritificate page.

  At this point no, there isn't a plan to add the old functionality back to the page.

  I believe the Current work around for that is to create a file /var/cpanel/panel.ini which has the following:

  [global]
  ssl.unified_interface = false

  This does bring back the old UI style for us
