elevate-cpanel with old version of whm

I'm running a server with WHM 110.0.97 on Centos 7.
When trying to upgrade it fails and asks to upgrade OS.
When watching the elevate-cpanel video I noticed that if you're running on an old WHM version, it will require to update it first.

So I'm stucked in a recursive loop?
If you have any experience with similar issue, your help will be much appreciated.

  Hey there!  It would be good to share the specific error message you're receiving so we can see those.  Do you have those available?

  Thanks for your quick response. I was afraid of running the elevate-cpanel because of the docs and video and some warnings, but I fixed the warnings and stoppers one by one and it all went fine :)
