I am running AlmaLinux 9 with cPanel/WHM on kernel 5.14.0-611.49.2.el9_7.x86_64.
KernelCare is installed and licensed, but:
Apache Symlink Protection: the Bluehost provided Apache patch is in effect

sudo kcarectl --set-patch-type extra --update

returns:

'extra' patch type is unavailable for your kernel

Is KernelCare Extra Symlink Protection available for this kernel, or do I need a different supported kernel build/version?

  Hey there!  The kernel you are running was just released last week as part of a fix for the CopyFail security vulnerability.  It's likely that KernelCare just hasn't caught up with that release so it isn't available for that specific kernel just yet - you can confirm this by checking https://patches.kernelcare.com/ and seeing that your kernel doesn't come up in the search at all.

  So I would say there isn't anything wrong, they are just a bit behind while they work on that latest available kernel.
