ERR_TIMED_OUT

Hi,

From time to time, our websites will encounter the following error message while loading the webpage.

ERR_TIMED_OUT

 

It is random and intermittent issue. We do not know what went wrong.

  Do you see a partial page before it times out, or does it time out before you see any content?

  I only ask because in the past two months I switched my browsers to using DNS-over-HTTPS.   And I have noticed that since that time, when I navigate some site (one of mine, or any other site), periodically I'll get a timeout.  And if I immediately re-attempt to acquire the site it comes up.

  So if you are using DNS-over-HTTPS in your browser, that might be why you are seeing it.

  I have a server and this started happening yesterday. I'm struggling to figure out what it could be. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? It's happening with my websites and even with the server's link on port 2087.

  Quintanilha-RJ - if it's happening even on port 2087 I would wonder if there are any networking issues on the server.

  When you see this happen, are there any obvious errors in the cPanel access log that show anything helpful?
