2FA does not work to access cPanel account through WHM
I have 2FA set up for both WHM and my cPanel account.
After upgrade to 134.0.34 2FA won't work to access cPanel user account through the WHM interface.
Prior, in WHM - List accounts - I could acces a cPanel account without needing to enter 2FA.
Now, it asks for 'root' code. Entering the WHM root 2FA code does not get past the code screen. Will repeat asking for root 2FA code. If I enter the user account 2FA code the message is the code is incorrect.
To access cPanel user account I must now exit WHM and login directly to cPanel user account. Then the 2FA user account code will work.

Our team is working on a fix and we hope to have it out shortly. I'll be sure to post once that is live!

The updates have just now been released with the fix, so you can update your server at this time.

I have tried the fix on one server (upcp to 134.0.35) and it kind of works: we get the 2FA prompt every time we try to go to a cPanel account from root WHM but at least it works after entering the code. Is this the new normal? Thanks!

Yes - entering the code when you try and access cPanel is currently the new normal. I don't believe that is the long-term plan for how we want this interface to be, but it at least allowed us to fix the login loop.

CPRex : entering the code when you try and access cPanel is currently the new normal
I LOVE this new feature and feel it adds so much security and is not an inconvenience

bcon - you missed the "I don't think this is the long term plan" part
