I don't want WP-Tookit in my clients dashboard. Can I safely remove the /mu-plugins wp-toolkit wp-toolkit.php ? Will this keep it out of their dashboards? Thanks in advance.

  cPanel controls that file - it gets overwritten to ensure the MultiPHP system works properly on all accounts.  There isn't a specific "why" other than this is a core cPanel function that has existed as long as we've had the MultiPHP tool.

  I have WP toolkit installed and in use in cpanel.  However just recently it seems my WP Toolkit on the server has installed itself as a wordpress plugin on all of the independent WP sites on the server.  I'm not happy about this.

  I would like to know how to remove all of these WP Toolkit Wordpress Plugins and prevent them from coming back in all of the sites - but retain the cpanel side access.

  It's just called WP Toolkit and it's an MU plugin. When I look thru whm wptoolkit list of plugins installed on the sites, it does not show. Only when you drill down to each individual site it shows. Removing them all manually is not an option. Need console command line code to do it in one go.
