disklayout / checklayout / mkrescue Error

I'm getting an error in multiple servers.

got an email with subject:
Cron <root@SERVERNAME> test -f /var/lib/rear/layout/disklayout.conf && /usr/sbin/rear checklayout || /usr/sbin/rear mkrescue
And message:

To log into the recovery system via ssh set up /root/.ssh/authorized_keys or specify SSH_ROOT_PASSWORD

ERROR: Cannot test if the ReaR recovery system is usable because /tmp is mounted 'noexec'

Some latest log messages since the last called script 990_verify_rootfs.sh:

  2026-06-24 01:30:47.445899413 Including build/default/990_verify_rootfs.sh

  2026-06-24 01:30:47.449076286 Testing that the recovery system in /tmp/rear.cYiOaT37bjE2Ld9/rootfs contains a usable system Aborting due to an error, check /var/log/rear/rear-SERVERNAME.log for details

Anyone else with this issue? Same issue on multiple cpanel boxes.

  Hey there!  This notification is from the RElax And Recovery tool in Linux:

  https://relax-and-recover.org/

  so this wouldn't be related to cPanel as that is additional software on your machine.

  I have to do some digging/research, but this may be from JetBackup if you have that installed.

  I don't have that but use Backuply server on some of these. I'll check with them, thanks.
