Howdy,
My VPS has been sending me nightly notifications with the above subject line. The body of the email is as follows:
ERROR: Cannot autodetect what to use as KERNEL_FILE, you have to manually specify it in /etc/rear/local.conf

This isn't something that is created or distributed by cPanel, but if you have other backup solutions on the machine that may explain where it is coming from.

Thanks. Any idea how to fix the error, or, at least, stop this particular email from sending?

Unfortunately I don't have any ideas on this one since it's a third-party tool.
