Can AutoSSL issue certificates for wildcard subdomains?

Hi everyone,

I'm using AutoSSL in cPanel and wanted to know if it supports wildcard certificates (for example, *.example.com) or if I need to use a different method.

I'd appreciate any clarification. Thanks!

  Hey there!  AutoSSL doesn't issue certificates as a wildcard, but instead secures all the domains in a vhost under one certificate with multiple SAN names.

  The major difference being that a wildcard cert would automatically cover future domains, but with AutoSSL the tool just runs again when it detects a new domain and issues a new certificate.
