Hey there!  There isn't a way to do exactly this - the closest thing we would have is the Manage Team tool, which allows you to create cPanel sub users with limited access to the interface:

    https://docs.cpanel.net/cpanel/preferences/manage-team/

The roles wouldn't let you limit the user to a specific subdomain, but to specific tasks in the interface.

We do have a roadmap item to expand the Manage Team tool for more features, but it hasn't been released just yet:

    https://features.cpanel.net/c/184-expanded-team-manager

You can always leave a comment on that feature card if you'd like to share these specific asks, or I can add it for you on my end.

cPRex - Thanks for your reply. Yes, the manage team at present do a lot, but not quite to the extent I would like , regards the sub domain/file control.

I have left a comment on the feature card,

If you have WHM access, you should be able to create a new account for them on the server for the full subdomain name (IIRC, there may be a setting in "Server Config" which might block this, but you'll just need to toggle that off).

rbairwell. - Thanks, but unfortunately shared hosting does not contain WHM access.
