cPanel Installation Fails on AlmaLinux 10.2 - "CPU ISA level is lower than required"

I'm attempting a fresh cPanel & WHM installation on AlmaLinux 10.2 running as a Xen VM on XCP-ng.
The installation repeatedly fails during synchronization with the following error:
/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/perl: CPU ISA level is lower than required
The installer then reports:
The installation process was unable to synchronize cPanel & WHM.
Additional findings:
OS: AlmaLinux 10.2
Virtualization: Xen (XCP-ng)
Guest CPU presented as: Intel Xeon X5670
# /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/perl -v
/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/perl: CPU ISA level is lower than required
# readelf -n /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/perl/542/bin/perl
x86 ISA needed: x86-64-baseline, x86-64-v2, x86-64-v3
The VM does not expose AVX/AVX2/FMA CPU features.
Based on this, it appears the bundled Perl binary requires x86-64-v3 instructions that are not available to the guest VM.
Can you confirm whether current cPanel builds for AlmaLinux 10 require x86-64-v3 capable CPUs, and whether this configuration is supported? If not, what hardware or CPU feature requirements do you recommend?

Hey there! You're correct on the x86-64-v3 issue as that's required by some of the operating system tools that get installed as part of the cPanel installation.
If you want to stay in this specific environment it would be best to choose AlmaLinux 9, as security patches go out until 2032.
