Meridian Theme (Beta) UX Feedback: Domains, Dashboard Cards, and Plugin Docs

First of all, kudos to the cPanel team for the direction you are taking with the new Meridian theme!

I’ve been testing the recently released Beta, and the new layout is beautiful—especially the Light mode. The organization of features feels very intuitive and modern. I also want to highlight the new feature that allows users to change the document root of the primary domain; it is an excellent addition, and the clear security warning attached to it is a great touch.

One minor note on the UI: the badge/dropdown that suggests switching to Meridian could make it a bit clearer that the theme is still in Beta. However, I really appreciate that the option to revert back to Jupiter is highly accessible right in the top bar.

While the foundation is solid, I do have a few suggestions for improvement regarding UX and functionality:

1. Domains Screen and List Views: Currently, on the Domains screen, we cannot see relevant information like the docroot path directly on the main list. We have to click on the domain, view the info on the next screen, and then go back. It would be a huge time-saver to have the docroot visible on the main list. Since there is already a system to toggle extra columns, adding docroot as an available option there would be perfect.

Additionally, the visual hierarchy signaling the relationship between a main domain and its subdomains using dashed lines looks a bit unpolished. Using curved arrows (e.g., ↳) would look much cleaner and more visually appealing.

2. Dashboard Notification Cards (Too Prominent): The notification cards on the Home screen are currently too large/prominent and, more importantly, they cannot be dismissed. It makes the dashboard feel a bit bloated (somewhat reminiscent of WordPress admin notices). Suggestion: Replace them with a narrow bar at the top showing the number of important notifications, which expands when clicked (keeping the most relevant ones at the top). Please add a "dismiss" or "mark as seen" option so these cards don't jump out at the user on every single page load.

3. Developer Documentation: Finally, there is currently a lack of documentation on how to create custom screens/interfaces for Meridian using plugins. As a developer, I am eagerly looking forward to this documentation so we can start adapting our custom tools to the new design system.
