BUG: Meridian Theme triggers false-positive DNS warnings for proxied domains
To the cPanel Interface & Development Team,
I am writing to report a major flaw in the onboarding logic of the new Meridian theme that is currently generating false-positive support tickets from my clients.
The new theme features an aggressive "Check DNS" modal overlay that intercepts the user dashboard session. For any domain utilizing a third-party DNS provider or a proxy service like Cloudflare, the system sees the Cloudflare proxy IPs instead of the local server IP and throws a massive warning stating: "Your site is not live yet. This domain's DNS records have a problem."
Why this is an issue:
- It is factually incorrect: The websites are completely live, healthy, and resolving perfectly over Cloudflare.
- It confuses clients: Non-technical clients assume their hosting is broken when it isn't, causing a spike in completely unnecessary support tickets for server administrators.
- It ignores backend settings: This wizard completely bypasses standard WHM configurations (like "Allow Remote Domains") that are supposed to suppress local nameserver checks.
Meridian needs to either:
- Properly detect and respect third-party remote nameservers/proxies before declaring a site "not live".
- Allow server administrators to completely disable this specific onboarding widget via WHM / Feature Manager while keeping the rest of the layout.
Until this UI logic is fixed to support modern, real-world DNS setups, I am forced to globally downgrade all of my client packages back to the Jupiter theme. Please resolve this dependency bug as soon as possible.
