What do I need to have cPanel on my OWN Linux Ubuntu webserver?
So I'm running my own Ubuntu Linux webserver, and I want cPanel to run on there too. I've got 8 Wordpress websites on there, so not a lot, but I'd still like cPanel to control everything. I read that I should reinstall the whole webserver clean as cPanel needs to be installed before Apache2, PHP, and Wordpress. Ok... But more importantly: which licenses do I need? I was hoping for the Solo, but if I read it correctly, only the Premier support my own physical Ubuntu server/ Is that correct, or am I missing something? That would make it very costly....
Thanks, Abbe

Hey there! You're correct that cPanel needs to be installed on a fresh operating system, so you wouldn't be able to install it on top of your existing webserver that is working normally.
The license you need is determined by the number of cPanel accounts on the server, and the type of server you're running. Since this is a dedicated machine you are correct that you would need the Premier license type.
