Most likely, this could be an issue with firewall or mod_security.

The document root for subdomain is /home/user/subdomainfolder, from the screenshot. Edit the document root and copy the contents to the new folder to make it work.

Use the Manage redirection in the subdomains page to redirect to a specific url.

Is the IP of the destination server white-listed on the source server or have allowed access to cPanel ports? The error says it's a connection error.
