I have personally used cPanel default profile + opcache + PHP FPM and it yields great results.

yes I have also found MPM prefork working better for most of the servers pretty well. Recently we faced issue on one server where MPM was set to worker and apache was hanging with the message score...

Have you tried switching handler to suPHP and tested then ?

yes latest version of cPanel is installed on the server and there are no errors logged in the /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log when we visit the Multi PHP manager page in cPanel

Domains not listing in Multi PHP manager
php manager is saying no account listed while there are 40 50 domains on the server this is on latest easyapache 4 server
