Answer
The Remote Database Profiles feature supports the following versions of MySQL and MariaDB:
MySQL
- 5.6
- 5.7
- 8.0
MariaDB
- 10.1
- 10.2
- 10.3
- 10.5
- 10.6

cPanel also supports Amazon's RDS; however, we only support MySQL 5.7 or 8.0 using RDS. More information can be found in the Manage MySQL® Profiles documentation.
