Backup restoration "Please wait while the restoration queue is loaded." doesn't complete

Symptoms

When loading the WHM > Backup Restoration interface, the restoration queue loads the below message but doesn't go away or load it.

 Please wait while the restoration queue is loaded.

Description 

The backup restoration queue is keeping track of processes or other tasks that may have been in progress. In the event of server failure or the server is no longer able to track the process, the restoration queue may not load. 

Workaround

Clear the existing tasks using the gear to the right of the status table.

1. Navigate to WHM Backup Restoration

2. To the right of "Restoration Queue," there is a gear to select additional actions

3. Click clear all to restore the queue to normal. The screenshot below illustrates the option in WHM to clear accounts from the queue.
