Why is the Live Transfer feature missing from the Transfer Tool?

Answer

The Live Transfer feature is disabled and unavailable in the following situations:

• The destination server's hostname does not resolve
  You can run the /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/ensure_hostname_resolves script, or use the "WHM / Networking Setup / Change Hostname" interface to ensure your destination's hostname resolves.
• The source server is not a cPanel server
  For Live Transfer to be available, both the source and destination server must be cPanel servers. For example, the Live Transfer feature is not available when transferring from Plesk or DirectAdmin.
• Either the destination or source server is using a cPanel version of 88 or older
  Both the destination and source server must be at least version 90 or newer to make use of the Live Transfer feature.
