How can I reset the root password if I don't remember my current root password?

Answer

If you are unable to access the server as the root user, you may need to contact your service provider or System Administrator to help reset the root password. 

If you have access through your provider's console or other means, you can use the passwd command to set a new password. You can then use this to log in via WHM.
