What is the Restricted Restore feature in the Transfer or Restore a cPanel Account interface in WHM?

Answer

The Restricted Restore feature is an experimental feature that allows the system to perform additional security checks on backup files being restored. This is designed to help mitigate the risk of transfers from unfamiliar sources.

Warning: If part of the file has a security issue, the system will not restore that part of the archive. Also, note that parked (aliased) or addon domains will not be restored when using this feature.
