How to install Python Selector for use with cPanel on a CloudLinux server from WHM – cPanel

Introduction

This article provides the steps to install CloudLinux's Python Selector from WHM.

Please note that a CloudLinux license is required to use Python Selector.

Log into WHM as the ‘root’ user.
Navigate to "Home / Server Configuration / CloudLinux Manager."
Scroll down to the "Python" card.
Click on the "Install" button on the "Python" card.
Under "List of installed Python versions," click the "Install" button for the version of Python that you would like to have available.
Click the "Agree" button.
Repeat the previous two steps for each version of Python that you would like to have available.
Please note that you must wait until one installation has been completed before installing another version.
Navigate to "Home / Software / EasyApache 4."
Click the "Customize" button in the "Currently Installed Packages" box.
Click the "Ruby via Passenger" tab on the left sidebar.
Please note that on CloudLinux 9 servers you must click the "Apache Modules" tab instead.
Search for mod_passenger.
Select the Passenger module for your OS.

Click on the "Review" tab in the left sidebar
Click the "Provision" button.
