Symptoms
If the IP file contains a space or any other characters, the Transfer tool fails to connect.
Description
Using the Transfer Tool to transfer an account is required to add the source IP address, if the IP address contains any not allowed characters, the tool fails with the following error, please note a space at the end of the IP:
(XID k6ujpm) The system failed to connect to “10.2.35.90 ” on port “22” because of an error:
Invalid argument Failed to establish session and parse security token: 599 Internal Exception (Could not connect to '10.2.35.90 :2087': Name or service not known ) at /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/perl/536/cpanel-lib/cPanel/PublicAPI.pm line 526.
We've opened an internal case for our development team to investigate this further. For reference, the case number is CPANEL-46498. Follow this article to receive an email notification when a solution is published in the product.
Workaround
Double check the IP address field for any extra characters.
