WHM Server information doesn't return physical disk on Ubuntu

Symptoms

Server information doesn't contain the Physical Disk information on Ubuntu servers.

Description

cPanel uses dmesg to obtain information about the server disk drives. But in Ubuntu, this information isn't returned. 

We've opened an internal case for our development team to investigate this further. For reference, the case number is CPANEL-47225. Follow this article to receive an email notification when a solution is published in the product.
