Symptoms
Access to a Roundcube calendar loads very slowly and nothing is logged providing insight.
Description
It has been determined that event formatting in a calendar ics file may cause calendar access from Roundcube to load slowly.
We've opened an internal case for our development team to investigate this further. For reference, the case number is CPANEL-48628. Follow this article to receive an email notification when a solution is published in the product.
Workaround
- Make a backup of the cPanel account using /scripts/pkgacct
- Access the mailbox using Roundcube and export the Calendars. If there are timeouts try again. It may take a few attempts.
- Delete the existing calendars and then using Roundcube import the exported calendars again.
Any events that are unable to be imported due to formatting will be excluded.
The calendar access should be working fine now.
