What can I do about cPanel updates reporting blocked for version 88 on CentOS 6 servers?
Answer
On CentOS 6 servers, you will receive update notifications for "The last attempt to update cPanel & WHM was blocked" when attempting to update to version 88 of the cPanel software. This block is due to running CentOS 6 as support for this operating system version ended after the cPanel version 86. To update to the latest cPanel version, you will need to migrate to a new CentOS 7 server.
