How do you manage server notifications with WHM?

Answer

Notifications are very crucial for a server administrator. These notifications can let you know about important events in your server, as well as events or actions that you should be aware of. As the server administrator, you get to decide how you want those notifications to reach you and which ones are important. Using the provided WHM tools, you can configure how you receive these notifications and their importance.

You can manage server notifications in WHM at Home / Server Contacts / Contact Manager.

From here, you have the option to decide the communication medium you prefer to be notified on, such as Email, SMS, Pushbullet, URL POST, or ICQ. You also can disable notifications you wish not to be notified about or override the priority of notifications you deem more important.

For example, if you do not want to receive notifications about new accounts, you may simply disable this event notification.
