What features are available with CloudLinux?

In addition to standard cPanel tools, what features are available with CloudLinux that can help me with hosting?

Answer

While cPanel gives you many tools to manage accounts, CloudLinux goes even further and allows you to distribute the hardware resources on the machine across your users.  CloudLinux lets you limit the CPU, RAM, I/O, and other resources at the individual account level.  These limits are ideal for shared hosting environments, making sure that one user doesn't overload the server by using too many resources.

CloudLinux also enabled you to run legacy PHP versions, such as 5.4, 5.5, and 5.6, through their alt-php system, so you can keep old sites working while you develop updated versions.
