How to disable a ModSecurity rule

Sometimes, ModSecurity rules have undesired effects. ModSecurity Vendors' rules cannot be edited to mitigate these effects, but they can be disabled. So, how do you disable a ModSecurity rule?

You can disable ModSecurity rules using the steps below:

1. Login to WHM as the 'root' user.
2. Navigate to "Home / Security Center / ModSecurity Tools."
3. Click the "Rule List" button.
4. Locate the rule to disable.
5. Click the "Disable" button for the rule.
6. Click the "Deploy and Restart Apache" button.
