When running Freshclam on my server, it is reporting that ClamAV is out of date. How do I update this software?

if you see this error, and you are using the ClamAV provided by cPanel, then it may be safely ignored. We push out updates as soon as possible when major releases are provided by ClamAV. Once the update is ready, it will be processed during nightly maintenance runs.
It is recommended rpmup be enabled on the server. This will ensure that all updates are appropriately applied during nightly maintenance. This process is described here.
