How do you change when cPanel updates run?

Answer

By default, the upcp script runs at a random time between 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM local time. You can set a specific time for the script to run using the Configure cPanel Cron Jobs interface in WHM.

1. Log in to WHM as the root user
2. Navigate to Home / Server Configuration / Configure cPanel Cron Jobs
3. In the Command: upcp box, enter the time you want to run the cPanel update script
4. Click the Save button.
