Symptoms
Installing WordPress fails with the following error.
WordPress was installed with errors:
Information about the MySQL host port is not available for the account: username.
Description
WP Toolkit reads the cPanel MySQL Profile configuration at the time of installing WordPress. In some cases the host will not be read correctly and the above error will be returned. This has been found to be caused by the Host entry being set to the local IP 127.0.0.1 on the localhost profile.
The WP Toolkit developers have filed the case ID EXTWPTOOLK-6125 to resolve this issue. Follow this article to receive an email notification when a solution is published in the product.
Workaround
In the meantime, you can resolve this behavior by setting the localhost profile Host value to the default of localhost instead of 127.0.0.1.
For more details on how to configure a MySQL Profile, see the following documentation.
