Symptoms

IMAP authentication is failing, and an error similar to the following can be found in the maillog:

CONFIG_TEXT: auth: Fatal: Unknown passdb driver 'imunify360'

Cause

The issue occurs when the imunifyemail package is corrupt or missing.

Resolution

Reinstall the imunifyemail package.

# dnf reinstall imunifyemail -y

Re-run the Imunify360 PAM configuration utility

# imunify360-pam set-dovecot pam
