Why are third-party plugins missing after updating to Meridian?

At this time, plugins such as Softaculous, CloudLinux PHP Selector, and JetBackup are not yet available in the Meridian theme. Support for custom plugins is in progress and will be added to Meridian. Our developers are actively addressing this under internal case DUCKS-6931.
