Symptoms
The Email Accounts page quota is supposed to update in real-time, but in some cases it does not.
Description
There are several ways to force a refresh of the quotas for email accounts, as documented below. The method shown here creates an empty quota file to force the refresh.
Workaround
Touch the 'quota' file first before using any of the other techniques, replacing $username with the actual cPanel Username and $domainname.tld with the domain name:
touch /home/$username/etc/$domainname.tld/quota
Additional Information
You may find other ways to force the quota to refresh in the following articles.
