Introduction
How can I change the domain of an existing account?
Procedure
If you need to change the primary domain name for an existing cPanel user you can do so by using the Modify an Account interface in WHM.
Once you click Modify an Account you will need to select the account you want to edit. You can enter the primary domain name or the username to filter the account list. Click on the username you want to edit and then click the modify button.
Under the Basic Information section, the first item in the list is Primary Domain. You can type in the new domain name you want to use for the account. This domain should not exist on the server. If it already exists for another user or as an addon domain you will need to delete that domain before you can make it the primary domain for another account.
After entering the new domain name you can scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save. This will update the account with the new domain name.
