CloudLinux 6 installation or update cannot finish because of package conflict with xorg-x11-drv-ati-firmware

Symptoms

You may receive the following error during upgrading to or updating CloudLinux 6:

The following error was returned: The log file contained the following information: file /lib/firmware/radeon/RV610_pfp.bin from install of kernel-firmware-1:2.6.32-954.3.5.lve1.4.80.el6.noarch conflicts with file from package xorg-x11-drv-ati-firmware-7.6.1-4.el6.noarch file /lib/firmware/radeon/RV620_me.bin from install of kernel-firmware-1:2.6.32-954.3.5.lve1.4.80.el6.noarch conflicts with file from package xorg-x11-drv-ati-firmware-7.6.1-4.el6.noarch file /lib/firmware/radeon/RV620_pfp.bin from install of kernel-firmware-1:2.6.32-954.3.5.lve1.4.80.el6.noarch conflicts with file from package xorg-x11-drv-ati-firmware-7.6.1-4.el6.noarch file

Description 

This error happens when package xorg-x11-drv-ati-firmware-7.6.1-4.el6.noarch is present on the server, and you attempt to install or update CloudLinux.

Workaround

Steps to fix:

Run the below command to remove the conflicting package:

rpm -e --justdb --nodeps xorg-x11-drv-ati-firmware-7.6.1-4.el6.noarch

Once done, repeat the installation or update.
