Introduction
This article discusses how you can remove additional IPs added through the WHM interface Add a New IP Address. These steps cannot remove the servers primary IP as this is not configured or added through the cPanel software.
Procedure
To remove an additional IP address you will first need to ensure it is not in use by any account. If a cPanel account or nameserver is currently assigned to this address, it will need to be moved to a different one first. If an IP address is in use it will be listed in the Notes column of the WHM interface Show or Delete Current IP Addresses.
To delete an additional IP(s), you can following the below steps.
1. Login into WHM.
2. Navigate to "WHM: Home -> IP Functions -> Show or Delete Current IP Addresses".
3. Click the Delete button next to the IP you wish to remove(If the button is not visible this means the IP is in use!)
