Why is the transfer tool taking a while?

In some cases, it seems that the transfer tool is taking a while to go through and restore the account. Why is that? 

Answer

Generally, a large part of the transfer process will go through and explain which step that it is on. One of the longest parts of the transfer process is the following step: 

Streaming Homedir from source server…

During this process, the files for the account are being moved from the old server to the new one. However, there are many limitations such as hardware and network speeds as well as how large the account is. 

There are usually no issues at that step if the transfer tool is sitting there, however, we recommend watching the transfer some more but allow the server to go through and continue its data transfer.
