cPanel Installs on EL10 Operating Systems fail to install MySQL GPG Key due to crypto-policies

Symptoms

cPanel installs on EL10 operating systems may fail to install MySQL with the following error:

CONFIG_TEXT: Error: GPG check FAILED
 

Cause

The cryptopolicies on EL10 operating system do not support the import of the MySQL GPG Key.

We've opened an internal case for our development team to investigate this further. For reference, the case number is CPANEL-52152. Follow this article to receive an email notification when a solution is published in the product. 

Resolution

If you need to use MySQL, install using an EL 9 operating system instead.
