How do I use the Database Map Tool to map a database or database user to a cPanel account?

Answer

If a database or database user is not showing in a cPanel account, the Database Map Tool in WHM can map the database or user to the account.

1. Access the server via WHM as the root user.
2. Navigate to Home / Database Services / Database Map Tool
3. Choose the cPanel user to whom you wish to map database usernames or databases and press the Select button.
4. Use the radio button to select if you wish to map a MySQL/MariaDB user or a PostgreSQL user.
5. Fill in the Database Users and Database Names fields with the full database names and usernames that you wish to map to the cPanel account. These fields can take multiple values separated by commas.
6. Select Submit Query to map the users and databases to the cPanel account.
