How to change the From: Address on cPanel Notifications – cPanel

Introduction

At this time, the actual sender email address for cPanel notifications cannot be changed; however, the sender name in the From header can be changed:

From: SenderName <SenderEmailAddress>

In the above From header, the SenderName can be changed but SenderEmailAddress cannot.

Please follow the procedure provided below if you would like to change the SenderName in the From header.

Log into WHM as the ‘root’ user.
Navigate to "Home / Server Configuration / Basic WebHost Manager® Setup."
In the 'Enter the sender’s name you would like to appear on the notification email’s "From:" line. This value defaults to "cPanel on", followed by your server’s hostname.' textbox, enter the name you would like displayed.

Scroll to the bottom of the page.
Click the "Save Changes" button.
