Symptoms
Attempting to run the "man" command on a user in the Jail Shell gives the following error:
[root@server ~]# man ls
man: can't open the manpath configuration file /etc/manpath.config
Description
Jail Shell mounts specific files and directories to allow users access to system-level files. The "/etc/manpath.config" is not currently added to the VirtFS for the Jailed user on Ubuntu.
We've opened an internal case for our development team to investigate this further. For reference, the case number is CPANEL-41675. Follow this article to receive an email notification when a solution is published in the product.
