Email forwarding does not work - How to fix it?

    If you forward a message from email1@yourdomain.com to email2@yourdomain.com, then it should never leave the server and I'm guessing any port closures should not affect this. As a web site owner, you might have to take this up with your hosts to investigate.

    Hello there! If you have root access to the machine the best thing to do would be to check the /var/log/exim_mainlog
    file on the system to see exactly how the message is being handled. If not, the best thing you can do would be to speak with your as @keat63 mentioned as they would have the necessary access to check that area of the machine.
