I suggest you to login to your server as root via SSH and issue "dmesg" command. If multiple servers are down that usually due to out of memory (OOM) which can be seen there or you can hire a professional from to track down the exact cause behind this.

Did you perform the very basic of tasks, a graceful reboot.

What is the output of the following when you run it via CLI: /scripts/restartsrv_named

Hello cPanelLauren I have same issue and have this:
    /scripts/restartsrv_named
warn [restartsrv_pdns] The system is unable to find systemd configuration for the 'pdns' service...
(XID 7wwhzb) El servicio “pdns” está deshabilitado.
    The “pdns” service is disabled.

    How can I fix this?

    Have this:

    ~# /scripts/check_cpanel_rpms
Warning: This script is deprecated and will be removed in 11.104, please use 'scripts/check_cpanel_pkgs' instead

    I change to "scripts/check_cpanel_pkgs" and have this;

    ~# scripts/check_cpanel_pkgs
bash: scripts/check_cpanel_pkgs: No such file or directory

You need that / in front of your command in order for it to run.

Is that service possibly marked as disabled in WHM >> Service Manager?

    Yes

That page looks like Service Status when we need to check Service Manager.

Thanks for that - that is what I would expect to see.

It would likely be best to submit a ticket to either us or your provider if that service isn't starting.

We definitely care - that's why I'm here chatting with you today.

What happens when you run this command on the system?

rpm -qa | grep -i pdns

Does that show any packages on the server?

    Nothing:

    ~# rpm -qa | grep -i pdns
    ~#

It seems there are more issues with the machine than just the PowerDNS service if those log files also aren't available.  Is this a new server?  If so, I would recommend rebuilding the system from a new OS image at this point.

If this isn't a new machine and you have data on it, your host would be the best point of contact as it seems the OS itself has problems.

This server have data on it.. I can´t re setup. I have a snapshot with this issue....

Will be good to update Ubuntu 20 to 22?

No, trying an OS update would only make things worse.

If the server is in such a bad state that logs can't even be created properly, even cPanel's support team wouldn't be able to resolve the issue, as there are deeper problems with the machine than cPanel.

You may want to reach out to a paid support option - all of the companies that advertise on this page are SafeAdmin certified by our team:

    https://support.cpanel.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/19389562586519-System-Adminstration-Services

You could also consider migrating your data to another machine if that is an option, although I'm not sure if the Transfer Tool will work with the server in its current state.

You can run "/scripts/pkgacct username" to create a full backup you can move to a new machine, or you could configure the settings you want in WHM >> Backup Configuration and then run this to backup all accounts at once:

    /usr/local/cpanel/bin/backup --force

what happend if I generate the logs files misings?
    Could work?

The issue is why they are missing to begin with - something broke the logging on the system, and the best thing to do would be to have an admin examine the machine.
