Need to put my site offline

I need to put my site offline (so not just maintenance mode), but not sure how to do this in cPanel. Thanks if anyone can help.

  Hey there! The easiest way to do this would be to just rename the index.html or index.php page to something else so it can't be read by the system. Changing that to index.php.offline would be enough to keep that from loading.

  So I didn't need to change the index php code at all:rolleyes: I could have just renamed it LOL! Thanks for saying.:)
