Really? If you don't know what "List Accounts" does, you should not be using WHM! (suggest hover hints - enabled in newbie mode) In "List Accounts" we see this at taking up most of the screen: Has anybody at cpanel done usage studies? They would have told you ops do at least 10x more checks/configs than create new accounts. Here too our productivity has tanked!

I'm glad to see more posts with specific examples, and suggestions for improvement. I totally agree about the first one - use tool tips and make the layput more compact. Search is now better, IMO, but still gives odd results (needs refining?) and the Ctrl+/ now works for the left search - thanks for that fix! I don't have a problem with the Create button in List Accounts, but the search filter is useful but could easily have a more compact layout. Most of my issues are with WHM, and in cPanel I adapted pretty quickly to the text based IDs. The cPanel issues for me are the wasted space (left sidebar), and the poor mobile functionality, ESPECIALLY when trying to edit a file from the file manager. (Poo on anyone pointing out that editing a code file on a phone is coo-coo. I know it is... and yet sometimes, here we are. ) Keep it coming, in detail, with screnn shots. I'm pretty sure @cPRex is passing these on to devs. (But still, this should have happened first, in Beta.)

Oh for sure, I read everything that gets discussed and make sure the team knows!

Do you have anything to say about my post above @cPRex? It doesn't really seem like cPanel are taking note of anything anyone says. It reminds me of Politicians to be honest - no matter what anybody says about how disastrous their policies are it's still "full steam ahead" with whatever they have planned. They only U-Turn in the end when there's enough outcry and rebellion. In this case: Are we to take it that not content with destroying the UI of WHM, cPanel are now going to dictate what themes are available on the cPanel frontend as well? You know, this software used to be good. What you're doing is slowly destroying any credibility you have. It's making it that much harder for the few of us left who are actually interested in your products to keep going.

Sorry to say, but this feeling is valid. Not so much WHAT is being done (with themes) but HOW it's being done with several changes of late. With the end of CentOS support looming on the horizon this kind of leaves the door wide open for an exodus. (I do NOT want that, for myself or anyone, but I can't help but look around at this point.) As I've said before, come on cPanel, you can do much better, so please do!

Perhaps if cPanel are unable or unwilling to listen to the community and what IT wants, some of us on this forum should start a new server management software ourselves instead. I think there's big scope for this to be honest if things don't get resolved as there's a growing number of people who are clearly fed up and not happy with the current direction of travel. Either way it seems big changes are coming. I'd much rather use cPanel if they get their act together because as an automation software, it's good. It's really good. I want to use it, except they're making it difficult. I also don't believe in reinventing the wheel unnecessarily unless there's some major tangible improvement & long-term benefit. But it's starting to look like more of a possibility ....

@CosmoChris - I'm not entirely sure what feedback you're looking for, but we are not keeping both Paper Lantern and Jupiter at the same time.

The left bar in jupiter is obtrusive, and distracting.... serving no purpose and yet wasting valuable real estate. This needs to go.

The survey that cPanelAdam posted is designed to skew data by limiting your selections.  There are some questions that are not relevant and yet I would be forced to lie to proceed.  One example is

"Which common goals are most important to your users using guided assistance? This question is required.

vf-hostmaster - this thread is over a year old, and I'm no longer sure what survey you're referring to.
