CloudLinux 7 and CentOS 7 End of Life Update
cPanel & WHM version 110 will be the last version of cPanel & WHM to support CentOS 7 and CloudLinux 7. cPanel & WHM version 110 will be supported through June 2024. cPanel & WHM version 112 will be the first version that does not support CentOS 7 and CloudLinux 7.
For customers currently running CentOS 7 or CloudLinux 7, we recommend upgrading to Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, AlmaLinux 8, or CloudLinux 8.

@kdean - I created a CentOS 7 server running cPanel version 110.0.7, and I just see the standard warning in the WHM interface: cPanel & WHM version 110 will be the last version that supports CentOS 7. Support for version 110 will end June 30, 2024. We encourage you to migrate to an AlmaLinux 8 or CloudLinux" 8 server before June 30, 2024. For more information, read our cPanel Deprecation Plan documentation.
I don't see any options to update to 112, as that wouldn't be possible anyway. It could be your specific platform has come across an odd issue, so it might be best to create a ticket with our team so we can do some additional testing.0 -

If you are running CentOS 7 and your Update Preferences are RELEASE, you will see the notification that the version 112.0.3 is avail. but the update was blocked. If you change Update Preferences to LTS, the notification will dissapear after upcp will run next time. Should we switch all CentOS 7 Update Preferences from RELEASE to LTS in order to receive security updates?0 -
Yes, if you plan to stay on version 110 and CentOS 7 for a bit, it's best to switch to LTS as that will be the only tier receiving updates for your system. 0 -
What are the risks with upgrading to AlmaLinux 8/9 from CloudLinux v7.9.0 STANDARD hyper-v or from CentOS v7.9.2009 STANDARD ? I have several hundreds of accounts on each and have several security add-ons and other add-ons enabled? 0 -
AlmaLinux 8 is fully supported, so I would say there are no risks. You can migrate everything normally to that system. 0 -
If we migrate from cP CloudLinux 7 to AlmaLinux 8, will the data be erased, or will it preserve the existing data? 0 -
@DemoTiger_Tutorials - how do you plan to migrate? The ELevate tools aren't designed to make that OS change, but if you use the Transfer Tool that will move everything normally between the systems. 0 -
@cPRex - Thanks, I will use a transfer tool and also back up important data to prevent any potential data loss. 0
