WordPress Toolkit dont create htaccess file
-
WordPress htaccess code is required! 99.9% of WordPress sites in Apache use it for custom URLs and remove index.php from the URL. Impossible to agree that the WordPress HTACCESS rule is ineffective. How insert the .htaccess in WordPress Toolkit installation? 0 -
I did some additional testing with this and found it is only enabled if Permalinks are active. If you go to Settings >> Permalinks and change the value from "Custom Structure" to "Day and name" the .htaccess file is created. You can also always manually create the .htaccess file if you need it on your system. 0 -

Hi,
I've checked this on my own test server, but new WordPress installations through WP Toolkit were working on PHP 8.4.8 and I was able to access the admin page without an .htaccess file being created. The .htaccess file shouldn't always be required for WordPress, but it can be necessary if your WordPress installation uses a custom permalink structure.
If you're seeing this issue happen on new installations through WP Toolkit, I suggest opening a ticket so this can be reviewed closer with access to the server.
